This restaurant was a bit of a letdown, to be honest.The vibe and atmosphere were nice enough. The decor is very instagram worthy, but, the food was awful. It had no flavour. They managed to overcook my eggs, the chicken was burnt with no flavour, and my waffle was just not nice. I would not go back again for food 🫤. For a drink, maybe. The place is awkward to get to via public transport as well.
Booked our work Christmas party here in December 23. The staff were the highlight of the venue, Shannon looked after us and was amazing. Nothing was too much to ask. Her and her team were fantastic and made the day very straight forward and enjoyable. Shout out to Duval as well.
Went there for a Sunday roast. The food was delicious, but 1.5 hours late and they started clearing tables away for a Sunday music event while tables were still eating, which showed where their real priority was. Staff were friendly, but with so many of them on shift, you'd imagine the attentiveness would be better. We had to ask numerous time to place an order, for water, the bill. It was weird. Four years ago this place was great; now I'm not sure it's worth the journey.
I have accidentally lost this review twice already - my psyche obvs want to keep it for myself! The most amazing Sunday roast I have had (sorry Nana, you’ve been outdone!) mountains of perfectly roasted parsnips, carrots and potatoes, youleshire pudding light and huge, real homemade gravy (none of that instant rubbish here!). I got a cauliflower cheese as a side - my belly is complaining but my tastebuds are still celebrating. The staff are super welcoming and friendly without being fake or overbearing. Can’t wait to come again - and I haven’t even left yet!!
I have been coming to the Lost Society for the past 5 years and although it has had its ups and downs, it’s Sunday roast has consistently being amazing! Their cocktails are also very good and I know they have live music some evenings. The decor is super cute and the background music is always great. The staff are very nice, the only criticism I may have is that finishing your food and drinks they take ages to attend you for either paying or ordering dessert/coffee.
