I liked the interior, live music was really good and fitting for the mood. The kitchen and staff are attentive but can be a bit slow. The food was not bad, however it could be a bit better considering the price. Overall, we enjoyed our night and plan to come again
Not in a hurry to return, My partner advised against going, she was right I didn't feel comfortable when I arrived, it didn't have a warm welcoming atmosphere like other pubs in the area. My partner and I sat down, the table opposite was empty bottles and glasses, 30minutes after we start down they were still there We got up to leave! Still there 😱 We watched a chef walk around with a burger for 5 minutes not knowing who had placed the order 2 minutes later, the waitress walked around doing the same thing with the burger as well I felt sorry for the person who ordered, what would now be a cold burger Not in a hurry to return
Good food! Nice Drinks! I came with my gran and felt like they ignored us for a little bit despite waiting. A bar tender went to serve a couple who just arrived even though we were waiting. Luckily his collegue told him we were next. This is something yo be mindful of especially as it wasn’t busy.
AVOID. Come for drinks, sure but don’t order any food. We left the table with the amount of food left in the pictures, simply couldn’t eat anymore. I only ate the fries and struggled to force a few bites of the Byrd get down. A simple cheese burger and nachos you think would be good. No. Absolutely not. Burger was burnt, nachos are stale. The dollop of guac was just sad. Also just no flavor in general. Very disappointing to lose £25.50 on these. Swindled! Definitely not the greatest of all time. Do better !!
The live music was a nice touch on Friday evening, although was a bit too loud to have an easy conversation. The ambience and food was great and the staff were pleasant. You can scan a QR code at the table, which makes things easier if you’re sat upstairs.
