Great atmosphere good entertainment friendly and helpful bar staff
Different clientele, to studious. This was a proper East End pub. But no more the last of a dying breed. The singer was a bit hit and miss. If it weren't for the company I was in, I would have left and gone to a proper pub.
Not baby friendly. Don’t even try to have a drink outside on the PUBLIC pavement with a baby sleeping quietly in a stroller on a calm evening or they will tell you to leave, very rudely. Despite dogs not being allowed, I doubt they would treat a dog the same way. Horrible people. Don’t support this behavior by giving them your business.
Great place to grab a pint. Been here a handful of times and it’s always a great atmosphere.
Lovely little place in the mid of the forrest. I went here with my family so we could enjoy a nice lunch and have a nice walk in the forrest. We had our little jack russell with us. But that was ok, the place is very dog friendly, and the staff very lovely. The food is big portion rustic food, but very well made. Particularly the mains were very good, and very well made, cleay made on the day. Very recommended to visit and enjoy the beautiful forrest after.
