This pub is, frankly, intimidating from the outside. However, the Carpenters Arms is welcoming. Got Tetleys and usual suspects on the pumps, but nothing exceptional. This is a locals pub and quite happily so. What with the surrounding carnage of the Olympic development, Stratford City, the massive great Westfield shopping mecca construction and its placement in the middle of a number of estates means that it gets very local at certain times, but we found it pretty friendly last time we were in. There were all types in, regulars, local workers, OAPs, and even some families. As it's obviously a critical part of the local community, it does its job very well.
Wonderful Place, I came from Rome to go in this Place. I want to thank the west ham hooligan who gave me his Lazio scarf, he went back home to take It,close to the pub. West ham and Lazio in a forever Brotherhood . When you come here you feel at home.
That awesome combination of an Irish bar and a West ham bar. Always packed before and after matches with entertainment. And great chips or taytos. And that special green s+$-$/monster.
Good atmosphere for game days. DJ works hard but needs to learn to let people sing once they’ve got going instead of playing the music over the top. Friendly bar staff and good food too.
Was a good night celebrating brother walford Celtic supporters club East London. Chandra who’s part of the chair/ president of the committee invited myself and my friend over. There was a live singer and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Thank you Chandra for inviting us. Great atmosphere. Will be back xx
If you support west ham, there is no other place to go, than here. Always a laugh, great atmosphere, probably the fastest serving time in the area and the food is good as well. As for the DJ, the atmosphere will tell you how good they are.

You can visit us at Westfield Stratford City, right opposite the splendid Olympic Park. Serving only the best fresh food, delicious wines and real good ales, there’s the banter thrown in too for good measure.
