It was my first time coming here. I liked it! I only had drinks, which I loved. It was so tasty. I love the names of the drinks like for example, zombie. It's hilarious and delicious. I will come back here.
Not a great Wetherspoon's in my opinion. I've been here a bunch of times throughout the week and through the course of a day and the tables & menus are always filthy. They don't seem to clean any of the tables or menus at the end of beginning of a shift or throughout the day. And if you mention your table is dirty they will give you blue cloth and anti-bacterial spray to clean it yourself. Also sometimes the service isn't great, a barmaid got annoyed at me and walked off for saying I was next in the queue. The Area Manager should pay a spot visit to this place as it's falling behind the Wetherspoon standards.
The salad greens weren't very fresh but the rest of the food was okay. The staff were polite but seemed a tad vague about it. Overall it was fine and we have been back because the meals are reasonably priced and it is somewhere warm to sit. I recommend a visit but not necessarily for fine dining. It's a reasonable, affordable place to eat
Cheap and Cheerful. Enjoyed a few pints of Abbot beer and an American Burger with chips. Both were good for the price. Found the bar staff pretty quick and friendly.
Well pleased, great fish and chips with mushy peas, very good portion size, fast service, friendly staff, great value with a drink only £11
