A LIVELY ALL-DAY HANGOUT, FROM MONDAY MORNING COFFEE TO FRIDAY EVENING NIGHTCAP; POST-WORK DRINKS WILL BE SOUNDTRACKED BY BESPOKE MAV MUSIC PLAYLISTS.
Treated myself to breakfast here this morning. The service was exemplary. Prompt, friendly and even a check-back. Breakfast was itself genuinely really tasty - thoughtful flavours and perfect poached eggs.
Came for Sunday roast, for a pre-booked table of 5 was originally sat on a four person table with an extra chair as shown in the picture which was uncomfortable. Fortunately the server managed to move us to a larger round table. Can be quite a noisy lively atmosphere with a live DJ playing. All got Sunday roast, out of chicken, pork and beef, would recommend the pork as Beef was slightly dry but flavour was good. Reset of the roast was enjoyable with red cabbage, mini roast carrots and parsnips. Pet friendly. Open kitchen near back of restaurant All in all a decent experience.
Lovely place. The foods are delicious. Staff, Leah, is super friendly and best service-minded. She helped us to choose foods and drinks. Her choices are superb. 🥰❤️
Very nice pub and even better for accepting dogs. We ordered croquettes and squid as starters, but unfortunately there were no more croquettes available. So we only ordered the squid as a starter and for the main course a chicken burger and a beef burger. Unfortunately, the burgers came before the squid. So we returned the squid. The beef burger was very good, but the chicken burger came quite burnt or fried in very old oil.
Really nice terrace, got a table on Saturday morning for brunch. Menu was big but not many calorie conscious options. The Shakshouka was amazing though! We had to ask for water/menus/cutlery a few times but service was otherwise friendly
