This cracking gem of a pub between Brixton and Stockwell is beautifully-tiled and restored to its original ale-house origins. It's been grade 2 listed since 1981.
A grade II-listed back street corner pub dating from 1880 and with an impressive tiled frontage, this welcoming community local introduced real ale in September 2009, the first Conway pub to do so, but sadly failed to attract enough customers for it to make it worth keeping. The handpump has gone now.
Really good pub. Old fashioned boozer.
The place is very relaxed, a classic PUB. A good pool table, beer and good conversation.
First visit and I will soon be returning
Cash only, proper boozer, not for yuppies or similar types. Good Irish pub.
Classic locals pub, proper London vibes. Cash only - worth it though. They do a half decent Guinness as well.
