We booked the Kite Room for our son’s birthday and it was perfect. The staff were amazing and the deposit was returned within hours of us leaving. Great pub, great staff. Very highly recommended.

Came here for the first time recently with my family for a pre-Christmas lunch. It's a lovely looking, family-friendly pub and the service was OK but it did take ages for our food to arrive, which I assume was because it was very busy. I ordered the combination roast, sticky toffee pudding and some orange Juice. The roast was very nice but the potatoes were a bit hard in the middle, and there were only 2 of them, which I thought was a bit stingy for a meal costing £27. I suspect the huge Yorkshire pudding was meant to make up for this. The pork, beef and chicken in the meal were very tasty, especially with the celeriac and cranberry sauces on the side. However I felt that the portion sizes for the meat were a bit small. The carrots and cabbage accompanying the dish were also pretty tasty. We had really long wait from the time we ordered our desserts until the time they arrived, but I'm glad they didn't kick us off the table once our alloted slot had ended. I would probably visit again to try other items on the menu.

This pub is part of my family history as it was my dad's local 60 years ago when I was just a kid. Dad would go here for a couple of hours after church on a Sunday whilst we got some sweets from the shop across the road then went home. The sweet shop has gone but the pub remains now run by a lovely young woman from Melbourne Australia which is cool. Visiting the pub after 45 years brought back a lot of memories and I was pleased the place looked great and was a nice place to be. My wife and I had a couple of meals from the lunch menu, Avocado on sourdough for my wife and a fish sandwich and chips for me. Both were nice, the Avo on toast usually comes with a poached egg in Australia but not here. My fish came inside two slices of fresh thick white bread. Both meals went down well with a beer and ginger beer. I really enjoyed my visit, lots of great memories came back of Dad enjoying his time here. Dad's now a sprightly 94 and I can't wait to show him the photos.

A great Streatham pub close to the overground station. An offering from Young's, well done. The place is clean and tidy, also hectic on my visit. Cool staff coping well. Just a quick visit for some refreshment today so I can't comment on the food. There is an open kitchen here though, I am confident. Football is on the screens and is getting a lot of attention. Beer is lovely as one would expect with all the usual offerings on display. A good visit.
