Still awaiting a large expensive parcel that apparently has been delivered. This has not been delivered. Cannot reach the company via phone. Wondering if its worth going to the depot but what will they tell me there? The reviews on this page say it all really. The drivers must be thieves. Avoid avoid avoid
SC TUFFNELLS WENT INTO ADMINISTRATION ON MONDAY JUNE 12TH!! They had been trying to deliver an order to me since Thursday June 8th to an address IN THEIR OWN AREA that is over 13 miles from where I live - even though they have MY CORRECT ADDRESS!! (as confirmed by the Seller's online Invoice for the item I bought). It looks like they are still trading by taking business in BUT THEY ARE NOT MAKING ANY DELIVERIES & THEY ARE NOT RETURNING GOODS BACK TO THE SELLERS - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - KEEP CLEAR OF SC TUFFNELLS.
Terrible service. They delivered a parcel to my property, took photo and then took parcel back with them. My cctv can verify this. I've tried phoning endless times but no answer and emailing several times with no response. The phone number on the card they left me is invalid. The card doesn't even have a consignment number on it. I give up.
Got an email at 8:20 saying "Out for delivery". Waited, waited and waited. By 3pm Nothing. Tried to find depot info for an update at 3:00, as I had to pick up my son by 4:30. Found a number, which was answered after about 15 minutes, to be told "Delivery is any time between 8am and 6pm, and they couldn't give me an exact ETA! Was told to call the supplier where I made purchase, to be told, Tuffnells DONT give ETA'S, and if there was nobody in when item was delivered, they would have to re-book a delivery time, and it would cost me another £15!! VERY VERY POOR SERVICE FROM TUFNELLS, THAT THEY CANT EVEN SAY AM OR PM DELIVERY! Will check the delivery company next time I order something online, and if its Tuffnells, I won't bother ordering. Have made a complaint with the company where I made purchase, that they should change courier company!!
Shockingly bad company, the drivers simply can't be bothered to turn up for a collection. We've missed a few next day deadlines as Tuffnells simply don't show up. Whats the point of being in business then if you can't provide the service. You can't get through to the depot, nobody answers the phones. Apparently your call is important to them, but holding for 30minutes tells me otherwise.
