Proper Irish Pub with great Guinness and a fantastic atmosphere. They also make their own gin selection which is to die for! Whether you want to attend a local pub quiz, watch sport on TV or simply catch up in the "cosy", this pub has everything. The food is also fantastic and I'd highly recommend their fish and chips! 10/10 favourite pub in London!

We went for the quiz which was nice, but nothing to write home about. But the food we ordered was beyond terrible. Ordered fires for £5 and it was a tiny pot. But the real kicker was that we saw it was £7.50 for each small plate, so we ordered the 3 for £21.50 (a huge one pound saving 🙃) and I think the photos speak for themselves. Lazy, bland nor any kind of plate dressing. Huge chunks of cauliflower with no seasoning were particularly laughable. We also ordered nachos at £10 and it had probably a quarter of an avocados worth of guac - genuinely a teaspoon size. Very sad to see as the pub itself and staff were nice.

Ah, the Hanbury Quiz Night, where history, science, geography, and pop culture get thrown out the window in favor of the truly essential topic: the British Royal Family. By round three, I was half-expecting the Queen herself to walk in and join a team. While some quizzes challenge the breadth of one's knowledge, this one ensures you're up to date with your "Royal Digest". Who knew there were so many ways to ask, "Which royal wore what and where?" If you're looking to test your knowledge on literally anything else, this might not be the quiz for you. But if you've memorized the family tree dating back to William the Conqueror, you're in for a right royal treat! Cheers to pete for reminding us what truly matters.

Nice place to eat pre-match for Arsenal games, a fifteen minute walk from the Emirates. Good selection of beers. Staff are always friendly and the food is top notch!

Nice pub for Sunday roast, loved the atmosphere. We booked in advance so we were seated immediately. They had TV screens playing the match but it was very relaxed (i.e. no rowdiness). Service was decent. Food was nice, we had roast beef and roast lamb. It came with all the trimmings as pictured. The veggies were cooked to perfection, but I feel that the gravy was not as sweet as I would prefer for beef (personal preference), and the vinegarette flavour of red cabbage, although nice, over powered the flavour of the rest of the dish. As I say, this was a decent Sunday roast, but something just didn't quite hit the spot, there wasn't a showstopper on the plate. The cost was in line (if not a pound or two difference) with other roasts in the area. But not keen on £3.90 for pint of bog standard apple juice - I guess that's inflation for you?!
