Came to the Camden head especially for the Sunday roast it was a very large portion and delicious..I was served by Shana she is very friendly
I went to the Camden Head the first time yesterday evening. It was packed full, despite that staff behind the bar still gave great service. The interior of the pub is beautifully decorated. They also have a huge beer garden. Every night they have comedy night upstairs which starts 8pm weekdays and 7:30pm during the weekend. I didn’t manage to get to see the stand up comedy because it was full but I’ll try to see it next time. I had Neckoil beer and and Amstel. They have a nice selection of beers on tap. Beers are a bit pricy , £7.40 for a Neckoil. The cheapest beer is the Amstel for £6. The atmosphere in the pub festive with a crowd in their 20’s and early 30’s.
I believe it is an amazing place for drinks but not for food. Even though it was ok, I felt pretty bad later with a pain in my stomach. Cool old pub with a great selection of beers. So can highly recommend it for those
This Greene King pub is a tucked-away hidden gem. There is a decent amount of outside seating and a donut-shaped main bar. At the time of my visit only the Greene King IPA was the only available ale among the beers, though they do offer a 10% discount on the beer for CAMRA members. I've not tried the food, though the menu looks pretty minimal. There is a comedy venue attached to the pub.
The staff is really nice. The food is pretty good. And we really enjoyed the Stand Up (it's free but you're asked to give some type of contribution at the end [which is totally understandable] so if you're broke just save up some pounds before going empty handed)
