The Alma does not serve food, but many of our neighbours in the market do. Feel free to pick up some delicious street food and join us to enjoy your lunch - all we ask is that you buy all your drinks here.

The Alma is a good place to drink. Excellent location and prices. Food isn't served here. However, you can purchase food elsewhere and bring it into The Alma. The lady working the bar tonight (August 18) was wonderful. The Crown Fish & Chip Bar across the street is good and has a wide selection of food.
Another good Angel pub with a great range of craft beers. Staff were very friendly in helping me navigate the many pale ales/IPAs (settled on the Verdant Sundailer if anyone’s concerned). Tables outside could use a bit more of a clean, they’re a little grimy with rubbish in them but wouldn’t stop me visiting again
The Alma is ok. Situated not far from Angel underground. The place offers a range of less usual keg beers. Staff look after you fine and you get what you ask for, all good. Not one for real ale drinkers as no cask beers on offer. A beautiful old building to have a pint in.
A very nice, cosy and welcoming pub in the heart of Chapel Market. Great variety of drinks, food and even outdoor sitting area. Prices are extremely low, so was very surprised how cheap the drinks were but quality was topnotch. Highly recommended!
