A wonderful riverside pub in Chiswick, The Bell & Crown couples the charm of a country pub with a great London location. Set right on the banks of the Thames, it's the perfect spot to enjoy superb food, fresh real ales and friendly service with a smile.
It is located in a nice spot beside the river. The food was good, but we had asked the waitress to change one of the sides of a dish to something else, and the waitress didn't inform us of an extra charge. When the bill arrived, we noticed an extra charge. Spoke to the manager on shift all he could say was he was sorry and as the waitress was no longer on shift by the time we paid, he wasn't able to confirm if the waitress told us there was an additional charge or not. All in all, if you're going to eat and drink here, check your bill! I won't be coming back if the staff behave like this.
The Bell & Crown is one of the several riverside pubs in Chiswick, within walking distance from Kew Bridge. A great place for a meal, brunch or just for a drink.
Excellent pub food, Sunday lunch is good too. Great choice of wines and beers, they even do Lucky Saint on tap . Highly recommended.
Awesome pub with great food. The Korean chicken wings were just the right balance to go with beer or cider - not too spicy but enough Asian flavour. The Seared Owton’s dry-aged skirt steak was very good as well for an alternative steak. The cider there is always great. Fish and ships is descent, too. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere - I can definitely recommend!
Another offering from local brewer Fuller's. A delightful pub in a delightful setting. The Bell and Crown is adjacent to the river with a conservatory dining area overlooking same. Great service from a bar offering plenty of choice, whether beers, wines soft drinks or from the top shelf. Super visit and lovely people
