Lovely spot to go with friends or as a family, only issue I have is with their English Breakfast. Why are there no hash-browns or baked beans?!? Stole a bit of my wife’s fritters to make up the loss.
It is a nice and cozy shop with tasty brunch and nice coffee. The service is very good and the people working there friendly. It is located in 7-8 mins walk from the tube, but it is worth it.
The food here was nice, nothing to write home about but it was tasty. The unfortunate part of our visit was the service and lack of hygiene. We ordered toast and some extra syrup for the pancakes which were very dry and waited about 15 minutes before receiving them and that was after asking 3 different people multiple times. We had finished most of the pancakes and eggs just waiting for the toast and syrup. My husband ordered the avocado goddess and there was a long hair in his food. It was disappointing and really gross. The shakshuka and vegan breakfast was nice. I’m giving them 1 star because of the experience, just a little bit more attention to detail would have made our visit a lot better. The Chiswick Fire Station asked me to email them and follow up, I did and they never responded to me. They asked me to call and then no answer and no response to a voicemail. Extremely poor customer service.
Visited with family for a birthday celebration, first the service was really good and accommodating. We had a 4 month old and they gave us a quieter location so we can leave the pram and also be away from everything. Food wise it was very average for the price, the shrimp burger was nice and fries were good. Croqottues i was not a fan and Calarami I've had better. Overall I think the Brunch Menu would have been better and that's what I would probably go for, but service and decor was nice.
I visited No 197 and was impressed by its great atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, and impressive drink selection. The décor was understated and modern, providing a comfortable setting for both casual drinks with friends and more formal gatherings. Was really busy on night we visited - One standout feature of was the extensive list of wine, with a variety of reds, whites, and rosés available from around the world. Overall, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, with a focus on quality drinks and knowledgeable staff.
