We held a private birthday party in the upstairs room and couldn't have had a better experience. The team took amazing care to set up the room and look after everyone, providing food and drinks, great service, friendly atmosphere and patience with a crowd including energetic kids! Best local pub, great event space, highly recommend.
Lovely pub. Came as part of a large group, place was busy. Last orders called at 10.30pm which was surprising, and then the lights turned off over the spiral staircase to the toilets which wasn't very safe when everyone needs their departing comfort visit
This is our local pub and we’re happy to have it! Their new menu is great and love that there are now some food kids food options. I read the review about their being too many children but local families bring business and spend a lot of money on food and drinks and have to leave by 8pm, so surely there is a space for both types of clientele.
The food was very disappointing. The pittas were cold, there were 2 pieces of meat inside and it was just as cold. There was no dressing in the salad, you could have at least added oil. This pub used to have great casadillas and tacos on Tuesdays. Please bring it back.
Cosy, friendly pub. The food was really enjoyable and certainly hit the spot. The cheeseburger was succulent and tasty. Flavoursome gherkins. A huge portion of chips too! Happy meal Monday so it was £9.99 with a soft drink. Nice ambience in the pub with some good funk and soul tunes playing. Really enjoyed the visit. Recommend.
