Dating back to the 1800’s, The Pear Tree is one of the oldest buildings in the Hammersmith/Fulham area. The interior maintains the traditional cosy feel making it a great place to meet friends and enjoy a meal in the main bar, kick back and relax in our beautiful secluded garden or snuggle up with a drink by the fire.
Tucked away behind Charing Cross Hospital, just off Fulham Palace Road, The Pear Tree is a mere 10 minute walk from both Barons Court and Hammersmith Tube stations.
At this time of year we have transformed our Beer Garden into the perfect spring haven to relax in the warmner weather whilst hiding away from the hustle and bustle. Our outdoor fires add a Bear Grylls-esque sense of outdoorsy contentment to your evening plans.

Great little Hammersmith local establismbent with an excellent selection of drinks, great food, super friendly staff, and a lovely beer garden. It's a nice place to be in - definitely worth a visit!
The pub is very nice and cozy, and could be a lovely spot but I've tried at least 3 different beers and they all tested terrible and had the same defect: vinegary. This usually indicates beers are either spoilt because they are kept too warm or the lines have not been cleaned for a long time. As beers are quite expensive at this pub, I would expect mediocre hygiene standard, but honestly this was well below acceptable.
£7.80 for two halves of 'premium' lager that I found way cheaper in other places. You would never know this place exists, so they're not exactly going to get lots of people rushing back with these prices. Pub down the road much cheaper.
This is the perfect spot for both rainy and sunny days. Lots of old world, but cozy, Inside there is a long trestle table with a window bench if you have a large party, and there's a separate lounge area with a nice, comfy couch. There is an outside seating area as well. Most important for me is that it's dog friendly. It's important to note that the kitchen is not always open. We went on a Sunday afternoon so just had drinks and crisps.
Super friendly service and reasonably priced drinks. Dog friendly and brought out water to our two dachshunds. A little off the beaten track, but we'd moved on from a pub on the riverfront that was heaving and playing uncomfortably loud music (so loud, we could no longer hear each other without shouting). The Pear Tree was quiet without being empty, and everyone (staff and locals) were super friendly and welcoming (even when one of the dogs ran behind the bar...)
