A beautiful Victorian pub/hotel in the heart of Hammersmith, The Hand and Flower has been extensively refurbished and incorporates eight luxurious guest rooms in an historic, century-old building. A fresh menu and real ales make it a great local, too.

The pub was packed when I arrived with the after work crowd and delegates from Olympia, staff were absolutely on point considering the amount of people, service was quick and attentive, room was immaculate, clean and well presented, generously the mini bar was complimentary as was the espresso machine, breakfast was picture perfect, faultless. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Hand and flower when we saw cliff richard at the eventim apollo.(about a 20 minute walk) Hotel is situated a short walk from Kensington Olympia station which was handy. We were greeted by jazz... What a funny character he is, we had great banter with him, he was very friendly from the start. We arrived at 3pm, had a table booked in the pub for 430. Have to say the food was incredible! I had a burger, the wife had lamb shank. Service was friendly, everyone of the bar staff were friendly all round great atmosphere. We got up the next day, had our breakfast which was amazing! Served again by friendly staff (I had full English) I would definitely stay here again, the room was clean, and just what we wanted. Thank you to the hand and flower for great memories!

We stayed at Hand & Flower on September 7, 2023 and had the Lovatt room on the top floor. It was hot as hell!!! The portable AC did not work. There was nobody to call at night, so we just left. I would not recommend this place. It is old, run down, smells, and hospitality is non existent I saw other reviews that said the same thing about the rooms being hot and I should have booked elsewhere. I just hope the owners are responsible enough refund us our $300.

We had a great stay at the Hand & Flower! We didn't realize it was more like a bed & breakfast when we booked, but it really exceeded our expectations! Our room was cozy and complimentary amenities were put in our room each day such as water bottles, tea, coffee, even a beer and cookies. The location was great being a short walking distance from the Underground. The breakfast served in the pub each morning was tasty, and staff was very friendly and attentive. The room became a little warm at times due to no central a/c, however there were two fans provided and we could open our window to help cool the room while we were away or in the evening. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!
