Multi-purpose venue dating from the 18th century, including a stage, dancefloor and VIP mezzanine.
Had my auntie's wake held here today 31st May 2023 lovely staff and friendly people too 🥰
Since the renovation, there has been a lot more great space for events. The tables to hold people's drinks were more efficient and elegant and the bar staff still as friendly as ever.
Extraordinary place, clearly with some history, hidden amongst residential streets. Appalling acoustics for the live gig I attended and stage way to high for the type of venue it is. I wouldn't visit it to go to another gig.
Abysmal experience here. Hosted my partner's 50th. Staff were rude, half the venue's electricity tripped and left me with starving guests and hundreds of pounds of wasted money on food and props I bought for the event. Charged £180 for corkage yet failed to chill, open and serve the drinks. Threw away some of my belongings at the end of the night. No apology, no compensation offered in acknowledgment of my losses and dissatisfaction. Not only that but I was told by the President of the club that I my allegations were false; disgusting. Failed to understand they are in the events business and are customer-facing. Reported to the council I am so livid. STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENUE. A truly shocking experience to say the least.
Very friendly members club. Families welcome. Open all week with weekly big money bingo on Tuesday nights and Thursday afternoon's. It's a great place to take the family for a Saturday night out with live entertainment every week. With a private hire function room available. It's a great place to go. Only a minutes walk from Hammersmith Bridge and the River Thames
