Voted one of the best beer gardens in London by Time Out, Evening Standard, Design My Night + more. Pub is just as good with an onsite brewery and great food.
A village pub & brewery in the city, with a huge garden which forms one tip of Victoria Park.
Since it opened in 1845, Victoria Park has also been well known as the People’s Park, created as it was for the ordinary people of the East End, many of whom had never seen such a wide open and beautiful green space before. The People’s Park later became a venue for all kinds of public meetings and demonstrations of freedom of expression, which is the inspiration for our name.
Serving hearty, traditional pub food as well as a range of 'People's Pies' and Sunday roasts, whole roast chickens are also available for groups who want to share. There are open mic events, scratch theatre performances, improv comedy, jam sessions, live art creation and more upstairs in our 'Scratch Theatre'.

PPT is my favourite place in London! I've been coming for years due to the consistently wonderful atmosphere, well-priced drinks and lovely staff. I thought that perhaps my relationship with the place would change after I stopped drinking 6 months ago but in fact it's the ONLY place I want to come to at the weekends for a non-alcoholic beer! 5 stars all round
Delicious and hearty roast which comes out in just a few minutes. Nice selection of Laine beers, friendly service. I got the pork, my friends got the beef and veg roast and we were all very happy. One star down because it became too loud inside when the blues musician came on. While the music was great, I think nearly everyone was there to chat with friends and family.
An incredible place for a Sunday roast! Log fire, lush food and great selection of craft beer!
Great pub, open late, with massive amounts of outdoor (both the greenhouse, undercover and heated spaces which is open to 10 I think). Good selection of beers and wines. 4 pre-made cocktails, which aren’t the best unfortunately, but the Bloody Mary is okay! Small paid arcade section, and a Photo Booth for £4. Very warm inside, and the pub cat is lovely when it’s not too crowded. The food is standard pub vibes, the buffalo wings, halloumi, ham and cheese croquettes, falafels, and rosemary fries are our favourite.
Nice food, very good ambiance.. The pub is next to the park and have a very open space. We went there on a Tuesday so it was chill but it’s always packed in the weekend. I highly recommend this place! ;)
