My girlfriend had her 30th birthday party there, hired out the upstairs and it was awesome. Tom made sure we were all looked after and had a flawless night. Definitely reccomend!

I've visited the Red Lion a few times now, and it's always a pleasant experience. I love the low lighting, the music choices, and OMG the heating. It makes for a warm, intimate atmosphere, especially in the winter. A cool pub for a first date, I can recommend. On my most recent visit, I was less than impressed with the service, watching an unenthusiastic barman pour a less-than-average pint was a low point, but otherwise, for the most part, everyone here is charming and friendly, and they also had a quiz night that looked really fun. I'll have to try it out sometime in the next month or two.

Great pub, staff truly kind and nice. All pizzas are 7£ on Mondays. Really recommended it.

📍Red Lion 🌍 Stoke Newington 🏛 Attractive building outside, lovely brick and stone job. Make sure you cross to the opposite side of the road to admire it. Plainer on the inside. 🍺 Good range, all in the craft theme. There are 11 taps on the bar, I could have tried all of them. ℹ️ Good place to watch sports, if you like that sort of thing. The pub has a huge projector screen for big matches. Also has a beer garden. 🙋‍♂️ My view: Big fan of this Red Lion, for all the reasons above (except the sport). It's part of a small chain and they're getting it right. A bit more interest indoors would be perfect: Beer mats on the walls doesn't quite measure up to the impressive building itself.

Had our wedding party upstairs at the Red Lion and cannot recommend it enough - great drinks, great pizzas and, most importantly, staff incredibly attentive, accommodating and friendly. We had loads of non-English speakers but that was not a problem for them; everyone left happy! Truly the best vibe! Thank you Harry and the team!
