Disgusting pub, full of racists claiming that 80 percent of black people carry knives, with no data to back it up. It’s not really a pub, it’s more like a BNP meet up. It’s dirty and disgusting inside too.
Very pleasant people in very pleasant surroundings. Good atmosphere and reasonable prices for this day and age. All in all a nice place for a visit.
I stayed in a 400 room on Saturday 2m17 October 2020. The welcome staff was rude, got to our room and our TV was not working properly after asking staff numerous times no1 helped. I emailed the owned and 5 days later have still not had a response im gutted I spent so much money to be treated so badly. Dont bother wasting your money on a stuck up place
Strange pub from another era. Stuck in the early 80's. The bar staff are nice but the cliental are rather un-evolved. All our bikes had our bike tyres let down by a group of morons at the bar.
A wonderful establishment with a hospitable, friendly landlord. A fine selection of beers and wines goes hand in hand with the friendly welcome by the regulars who were funny and engaging. Well worth a visit.
