What a lovely little watering hole great bumch of friendlt punters, despite being a stranger felt very welecome.
Old school boozer with affordable drinks. The place has a community vibe, a dying breed these days unfortunately. Shows all major sporting events a hidden gem.
Went in to ask if I could get my bottle filled up with water. The guy said they were serving paying customers only and that I could go next door and buy one. Told him I was just trying to save wasting a plastic bottle. He told me that wasn’t his problem. Plastic waste should be everyones problem. Otherwise seems like a nice place. Loses 2 stars because of the rude man at the bar.
A simple local boozer offering competitively priced keg beers and Doombar on cask. A quiet start for the day, me the only customer. There is a pool table and a number of big screens for the sporty types.
If I could give zero I would, tired to buy drinks and wouldn't let us the toilets until we had the drinks poured, we were literally trying to buy drinks and got shouted out of the pub. We were ready for a wild night out! Went to the South Hampton Arms instead and it was so much better!
