I usually have fish and chips my first day in the UK. So today it was Mable’s. They did not disappoint! Probably some of the best fish and chips I have ever had. The fish was huge and lots of chips. It arrived hot and very crispy. Typical English pub atmosphere. Great place to grab a bite.
Nice traditional pub with a friendly atmosphere and good ales. Even on a very busy Saturday afternoon the service was excellent
Large, comfortable pub serving Shepherd Neame beers. I've had drinks here on several occasions over the years, but recently ate for the first time. The haddock and chips was very good. Excellent chips. There are some outside tables, which are sheltered.
A definite chain feeling to the pub with the standard food and beer options. A free craft beer options but keeping small independent ones. Some good deals on food and drinks on the chalk boards. Plenty of seating and televisions available showing live sports.
Large selection of beers, pub food. We went there for lunch. When ordering the beer, the staff let us taste two beers and chose the one we liked. The food was very good. The staff very friendly. Really recommended!
