This pub is very hit or miss. Sometimes the music is way too loud to enjoy a conversation and other times the place feels like it has not been cleaned in days. Giving them the benefit of the doubt because the staff is very kind and their deals on drinks keeps my friends and I coming after work. Also, never eat here the food is so so bad!! I recommend coming for a couple free drinks then migrating to some of the better pubs in Camden.

Went to the Earl for my mate's birthday party. They were able to accommodate such a large group without any issues. There were also two football matches on, and seeing screens everywhere was reminiscent of living in North America, brilliant! Food was ready on time and without error. My gripe is with the food quality, which appears to be fairly average. We ordered a sharing platter which had most of what I would have expected back in Canada, except that the nachos didn't have cheese but some sort of revolting sweet sauce. Wings and chicken fingers were in the deep fryer far too long and ended up very dry. Would I come again to watch some footy, 100%. Highly recommend and the staff were very friendly.

Two words burrito bowl, if you want a superb, outstanding burrito bowl, then choose the nachos Update. This was obviously a joke the food was the worst I’ve ever eaten at a pub

Thanks to Ryan and his colleagues for running such a lovely pub. Never before have I been invited to taste a beer to ensure it's not turned. Barrel had come of age but beer was perfect. I was impressed with this professionalism. Got to share the story behind "Combe-Downer" with Ryan (not that he'd poured one). Had a good laugh which made my time there all the more enjoyable.

Really good pub let down by substandard food . LGBTQIA+ safe space . Really good bar with good friendly staff . If you go in here just stay for food as the food is not great . Really expensive for what it is . A basic pizza for £15 !! I know there's a cost of living crisis but you could've served a better frozen pizza for half the price and still made a profit . The burger wasn't much to shout about either . The fries big standard catering ones with no appeal whatsoever . The supposedly sloppy Joe fries were a travesty £8!!!! No point complaining as there was no one on the floor and what's the point of disturbing the hardworking bar staff .
