This is the pub we think everyone should want at the end of their street. Great beer, tasty wine, proper food and quality music played on seriously good Hi-Fi.
Vibes are light and airy by day, dark and cosy by night. Drinks are session and food friendly. There's a three-course-bottle-of-wine type dinner menu, plus a drinking friendly pub menu of DDC styled classics.
We have a pub quiz on Tuesdays, and vinyl-only DJ sets every Friday and Saturday evening.
Pop in for drinks, book for dinner, or give us a shout for larger groups and dinner parties.

Amazing place. The food was to die for and the atmosphere was great. Cozy fireplace table and the staff was very accommodating of my disability. Ian is such a lovely host going above and beyond with my party. I definitely recommend the place, either if you're looking for a quick drink,a special occasion or dinner with friends and family it checks all the boxes.
Had a wonderful Sunday roast today at the Arms. The service was brilliant, especially Oliver who really took the time to tell us about the beers and recommend some to us. Were super apologetic when they didn’t have the things we wanted on the menu and gave us a free round of drinks to make up for it. They other lads who served us too were also great and the food of course was delicious!
Awesome hidden gem , run by some lovely people, who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Food was fantastic. Had 2 of the 3 course Sunday dinner - Roast beef with all the trimmings with salted caramel sticky pudding and ice cream for dessert. Also comes loaded with a vintage sound system with its own build diagram as a centre piece on the wall - which as a sound engineer I truly loved to see. Photo attached.
Great hidden gem. Food was great, wine selection was great, recommendations from the waiter were great, service overall was great, atmosphere was amazing. I was there with a group of 4 and 1 kid, on a Friday night, there was a DJ playing nice jazzy and soul music, just perfect background music. Loved every bit of it. Tried 3 different starters and two different mains. Food quality really good. And I am very picky, so it s not easy for me to find places like that. Polenta fries, oyster mushrooms and seabrass were my favorites.
Really good Sunday roast that is very filling and tasty. Pretty busy so make sure to book. The Sunday roast is mostly gluten free and they have a veggie option.
