4 of us ordered 4 different meals from the menu. All very tasty, generous portions and very reasonable prices. Friendly waiting staff and very clean. Definitely returning!
Came here with my friends….spent a pleasant evening with most delicious foods and refreshing drinks….big enough pub for a large gathering…beautiful outside area with garden and childrens play area as well…all of us liked the warm atmosphere & cozy vibes… the fireplace was an added asset 🥰 Places like this feel like they've got proper roots.. Polite and engaging staffs..The owner was really down to Earth and made us feel warmly welcomed… we left our Compliments to the chef …he’s the one with real talent for creating amazing flavors and textures. We’ll definitely be back . I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for good food and nice service… great place to spend a memorable day outs or evenings 💕👍🏼
Ive become a regular to the George it is an amazing establishment, I had a booking this weekend with my family, one of my family members is wheelchair bound. The wheelchair accessibility in the location was amazing. not to mention, there was also disabled car parking space, step free access they also served me and my families dietary needs with vegetarian and vegan options all round friendly staff being served by Grace The management was so lovely and came over to ensure we had a good experience and sure we were happy with our food the pub is clean and nicely decorated I will definitely be back as me and my relatives loved it !
This has got to be the cleanest pub I have ever been to in my life! The toilets were spotless. The food was absolutely delicious, I really recommend this place for a bite to eat, the chef is very talented. The photos don't do it any justice.
Unplanned visit during a quiet time. The food was very nice and large portioned.The lamb stifado was just what I needed on a cold autumnal day. The toilets were accessed through an old telephone box, which was funny. After the bread and butter pudding I was stuffed to the gills :) The ice cream could be a bit better quality. But it still worked with the desert.
