Iβve been there a couple of times now and I can definitely recommend. Great local pub, welcomes the new public very well. Here me out, you will find everything in there, from football/boxing to DJs on sat night, pool tables, TASTY FOOD, fair decent price. Bust stop in front of the place, very easy to find! Honestly it worth checking. We had the best service from Heidi βοΈ
Me and my hubby love to say thanks so much from Rob , really positive respectful kind regards from Gaz For us tallyho is local pub as we visit every week , almost 9 years. The only thing is disappointing that stuff changes often π and every time you get treated with new members bit rude no respect for customers π sometimes to nasty. Thanks Rob keep it cool , respect is always appreciated π
Rudest bar tender ever. When cleaning the table, she wiped all the ash on my boyfriends lap, then messed up our order by not telling the kitchen to remove the cheese from my boyfriends burger (whose lactose intolerant). When we asked for it to be remade she scoffed loudly and walked away, 30 seconds later she brought it back and we saw the cheese was scrapped off the chicken - the kitchen didnβt remake it and expected a cold burger with cheese still on it to be okay to give even though itβs an allergen. We asked the waitress to speak to the manager and she never even told her what was going on, so we had to go up to the bar after waiting 10 minutes to request to speak to the manager who sorted out our requests. Itβs sad because I really do enjoy coming here but the service is so bad recently I canβt deal with it anymore. New staff is needed 100%.
At over Β£3 for a soft drink I would call this more Tally Go (as in leave)) than Tally Ho! But Mummy Debra was in one of her blast from the past moods and Hadn't set foot in this pub for around 30 years. The pub has a few seating areas but the upstairs was roped off. It was thankfully quiet on this occasion but one imagines it would be full when the sports are televised. The staff was welcoming of a talking teddy bear and a crazy woman wandering around photographing it. There is an outdoor seating area but I imagine, being sandwiched between the north and southbound roads, that it would be a touch on the loud and polluted side for Mummy! Looking at the menus and review photos it's not a gastropub affair but just standard pub grub. It's dog friendly with dog biscuits.
A place to watch sport, eat and drink with friends. The service is superb, the place has plenty of screens to enjoy any sport without distraction. The food is exquisite, the Cheese Bruschetta is glorious, super creamy and exquisite. And the prices are super good for eating and drinking. A place to come back infinite times β¨β¨β¨
