Great place - we hired the function area for an event. The staff were really attentive at the bar and made everything really easy for us throughout. We were able to preorder food and drinks for a specific time which was a massive bonus. Plenty of space in the pub and there's a patio area out the front too. Definitely going to come back here.
Quite a decent city pub with 2 bar areas inside and a courtyard for outdoor drinking in the summer or when indoors is full. Like many city pubs it can get really busy but there is usually enough staff so you can get served without much wait. The staff are efficient and pleasant despite being busy. The food is reasonable quality but most people only drink. I have been here quite a few times - and will do so in future.
A good find, in an old London courtyard off a small alley in a central, city location. It's on the edge of loosing the remnants of heritage & character because of It's edge of the City location. It has a superb courtyard and an interesting two bar linked surprise. The vintage features are all but gone in cityfication, panelled walls overprinted grey, walls squared off and a square box bar. Strange service from some of the team. A good, mixed crowd of real people give some good buzz. It feels underwhelming by underrated underenhancement of location & style potential.
Great boozer right in the city. Tucked away down a little alley just off Leadenhall Street near the Gerkin. Good selection of beers on tap, friendly staff and a nice little courtyard out the front.
This pub is always busy, so if you're a large party, book. It's a lovely pub that used to belong to the East India Company and used to store tea, hence the name. It retains a lot of its charm but due to its location attracts City boys done good. It's down an alley way but well signposted.
