I had a short but lovely stay at Lochalsh B&B with Views. It was perfectly located at the gates of Isle of Skye and just so happened that I stayed on the blue moon night and got a great view of it from my room. The room had a quaint vibe (which I personally liked), and was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was clean with hot showers, shampoo and shower gel and clean linen were provided. I'd happy recommend the place to anyone who's traveling to that side.
We were visiting the isle of Skye and didn’t have a hotel reservation. We walked into Hotel Lochalsh, not expecting that they would have an opening. They had one hotel room left, and Evelyn, one of the nicest people we’ve ever met, was super welcoming. We had a stressful day, and she made us feel at ease from the beginning. She told us where we could eat and she offered us extra towels and pillows. She made us feel right at home. It was a wonderful stay and we highly recommend this lovely hotel! It has a fantastic view and is in an outstanding location. Very close to restaurants and the isle of Skye!
Maybe not the best hotel you can find in the area, but the view will compensate for all. Staff was extremely lovely, rooms are very cozy. Only thing I missed so much: a fridge in the room. The availability of restaurants is limited in the area so it would’ve been nice to have a fridge for our store bought food.
We've arrived in the evening and we're chancing getting a room, as we've been turned down everywhere on Skye and in vicinity. We got a room and it was an absolute saviour. Can't be any more grateful! The room was lovely as well. Very spacious and cosy with the most outstanding sea view.
Quite old but still comfortable. Lovely location overlooking the water. Toilet didn't flush properly. Nice bath but water wasn't hot enough. Shame it's not a fully functional hotel as it could be quite wonderful with some sprucing up.
