Didn't have food, just some nibbles. Very friendly atmosphere. Really loved it.
Excellent local micro pub, cozy atmosphere always serving a great variety of always changing local cask ales and ciders. I love the no music or tv just talking atmosphere. Dog and family friendly.
Just happened to drive past and find this gem. Great for chilling with some drinks. Especially recommended for the real ale lovers. Some decent locally produced nectar. I will definitely be back, just wish I'd known about this place sooner.
Very traditional and cozy local. A very warm atmosphere. I love the simplicity. No TV no music to distract your chat. Would recommend anyone to try a variety of their local brew.
Being meaning to visit for a while but shut when I've been passing. Managed to pop in for a cheeky pint, and wished I'd not waited so long. This is a proper pub. Its not a chain. Its not flash. What it has is a friendly landlord and great beer at reasonable prices. Next time will be a longer visit. 4 stars only because its shut when I've been passing (which i understand) and no food on offer, but this is available a few doors away at steak and stamp I believe.
