I love that this little pub is honest withoutan ounce pretentiousness, dedicated to quality and has a friendly atmosphere. Older crowd means relaxed and chatty people. Recommended
A very good local real ale pub, small but supplies a growing niche market. A good variety of ale is kept and served well. Only open for limited hours so check on the web pages.
A perennial favourite. No airs and graces just decent beer and friendly staff and customers. A ‘pop-up’ that’s barely changed in 10yrs… what they do, they do right
Nipped in for a quick pint here. Disappointed to see only 3 keg beers available (all of the similar hoppy variety). I'd have hoped to see a bit more variety (especially in darker beers, only night jar stout on nitro tap). The inside wasn't the most well kept but good to see some seating outside. Compared to other micro pubs (I've visited plenty all over the country), it's not one of the best but still nice to have it in Bromsgrove. I've been in smaller with more selection and the interior let's it down a bit. 3/5 for the time being but I will give it another go soon and the score could well increase. Certainly worth checking out if in the Bromsgrove area.
Really nice pub. Lots of choice of ales and spirits. The lager isn't to my taste. There was nothing else so I ended up leaving. But everyone in my group said how nice everything else was! The owners were on hand to cater to everyone and the facilities were all clean. A lovely little pub!
