Nice little place to get some very reasonable food, good ambient and nice staff. We'll worth a visit
Me and my daughter had a lovely meal here today , my daughter had a steak and bacon baguette meal , I had the rodeo burger it was really nice , and the staff was on point .
Went back to the lion after a rememberance day parade big pub with only 4 others in it due to a small fire in the kitchen the previous day so food was unavailable. Bar staff very cheerful and polite. Plenty of TV screens showing sky sports. Only drawback was the pub was freezing cold, only stayed for 2 pints then left looking for a warmer place to drink.
Very tasty and large portions, child and adult meals. Lovely atmosphere with background music and comfortable seating. A real gem of a place. Friendly staff quick service
Decent drink selection especially the spirits, staff are as friendly as can be and food is decent and fairly portioned and priced, would give 5 stars but the atmosphere within the pub and behind the bar aren’t the same as they were post Covid, although I would recommend, decent boozer with good drinks and food
