Recently visited The Lion for Sunday Lunch with a large group - absolutely amazing food and great service- without a doubt the best Sunday lunch I’ve eaten and the vegetarians were well catered for too. Worth booking in advance though as it was very busy.
One of the best roasts in Bristol hands down. The staff were very accommodating, great atmosphere. Highly recommend
It is the most fabulous place to eat in, I found this place on the Spanish TV too as THE BEST SUNDAY ROAST IN BRISTOL! I love their Sunday Roast and any other dish that you would see in the menu ,as well as their desserts are all delicious!! The staff is very friendly and kind. You can feel the warmth atmosphere as soon as you get in, you feel like family! I highly recommend you to go and try whatever you like from the menu!!
Came here for Sunday roast. The staff were nice and friendly But the food took tooo long to come. More than 45 minutes We ordered the roast lamb and roast beef. The lamb wasn’t good. The beef was okay not the best tho. The place is nice but a bit small and crowded
Best meal of our UK trip so far. This is a very authentic neighborhood pub (don't be put off by the 'gastropub' label) with a charming staff and a superb Sunday roast. Good value to boot - the servings were immense. High marks all round.
