Brilliant landlady & fun friendly staff. A proper local with bingo, karaoke, pool & darts teams. Clean & welcoming. Good selection of beers & proper pub food (would love to see some specials).

Went for lunch on Christmas Eve food was acceptable for pub food. However, the beer tasted watery it was replaced after they changed the barrel. However, it still didn't cut it..the interior was clean and tidy, no nasty smells.we were there for around 3 hours, but the noise volume got too loud, so we left

Really enjoyed my Christmas dinner today and the food was amazing would like to thank the chefs who prepared and cooked our food and the bar staff and waiters and waitresses who did amazing job too would recommend this pub

Went here today for food at red dogs grill in the highwayman pub food was the some of the best we've ever had mac&cheese to start was delicious the cheese pull was a sight to behold the load nachos were plentiful pulled pork on the top was sweet tangy and melted in the mouth the kids had a footlong hotdog which Is massive and full of flavour. Ribs were tender and sticky and fell off the bone the lemon & herb chicken was tangy and succulent. Coleslaw was beautiful skin on fries lattice fries onion rings all delicious. Our server was an absolute delight kept checking was everything OK without being intrusive. We will definitely be back got to try the burgers 🍔 next as what we saw being sent to other tables looked pretty damn good. EDIT Red dogs are no longer in this pub.

Forgot me of the menu. Potatoes _packet..veg _frozen microwave.not good for a veg cutter...told landlord about someone who I thought was over limit and he took keys off the said person.... good you think... but then to learn of the bar staff the landlord gave the keys back and culprit driver rode home on a motorcycle over the limit.Sorry but being local to this new landlord and renamed bar from the Highwayman to Jacksnipe first visit not a pub for me. . . My closest to my home to Queen's Rd. SORRY
