Dameon Clarke, originally from Leicester, has along with wife Victoria now settled here in Ryhall as head chef at The Wicked Witch.
Dameon spent his childhood growing up in Coalville, Leicester, he joined catering college where he found his interest in food and after knocking on the door of Le Gavroche in London, to ask for a job he soon found his passion. Spending a few years travelling Asia and learning the local cuisine, Dameon went on to live in Sydney, Australia, for 3 and a half years where he worked at Tetsuya's which at the time was amongst the best 5 restaurants in the world.
With big names on his CV including Michel Roux Jr and Gary Rhode’s, it is safe to say that Dameon knows what he’s doing in the kitchen! With his love of bursting flavours, and using only locally sourced, fresh and seasonal produce, there is something for everyone to enjoy here at The Wicked Witch, and the team look forward to welcoming you
