The food and beer selection was great. Unfortunately, they seemed short staffed, but our waitress was excellent and managed to give us great service. The carpark was large with a generous amount of time allowed.
Good solid pub, wood tables chairs and flooring, enabling easy cleaning and maintenance and bringing some oldy worldly charm of Lincoln. Menu and food a cut above normal pub grub. May be a little dearer as well parking on site but remember to register the car. The service, charm and ambience definitely worth a return visit when I am in Lincoln again.
The staff are wonderfull, I cannot rate them highly enough. So very helpful and accommodating. I had to make several changes from my original booking for two into a booking for fourteen!!! Nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, so tasty and well presented, everyone enjoyed every aspect . Perfect. Well done Horse and Groom. I would highly recommend a visit. Parking available too x
Really fell in love with this place on arrival, the home cooking smell was amazing as was the food. The staff were super friendly and not pushy in any way and gave us plenty of time to make our food and drink choices. The food was well above pub standard and very good value for money indeed, also the beer was on great form. Love it.
We tend to visit here every time we come to see our daughter who is at University in this wonderful city. The food here is amazing, the service is excellent. We have been three times since Sept, and each time the standard has been top notch. Considering we travel 2 and a half hours and keep coming back says it all really.
