A return trip for Bourne U3A Snooker Groups' annual "Christmas" Lunch, though just as enjoyable in January! Two large tables were set in a light and airy dining room and a decent variety of dishes were on the menu. Excellent value too as main courses were "two for one". Generous portions were served so two are enough, unless you could eat a horse (which, by the way, is not on the menu!).
We had a lovely meal at The Woodhouse Arms today. Perfect location to meet halfway between the North and the South, just off the A1. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, there was a good selection of drinks (including some Christmas cocktails) and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Faultless. It's over 100 miles from our house but we'll definitely come back!
Absolutely fantastic place, the staff are amazing, friendly and helpful couldn't do enough for us, the food was also amazing, the room was very clean and spacious the bed was really comfortable, there was also plenty of parking space. Overall it was perfect 👌
This is a country pub with one of the best breakfasts I've ever had! The service was so friendly and helpful that it was a pleasure to be there. Everything was very clean . The location is on a crossroad and there isn't really a garden but it's a very pretty village and the countryside around is lovely.
I have recently entertained family and friends here a few times whilst holding an art exhibition nearby, and each time, it was great. I booked online, which was easy, and informed them of an intolerance that one of our party has during booking. They called me shortly afterwards to tell me that it would be OK for her. Great caring service. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient, even when it was busy. Really nice good quality food with daily specials too. We will, without hesitation, be returning to enjoy more meals here in the future.
