Landlord, John Fairhurst, has been at the White Swan for more than 26 years and the pub has received many CAMRA awards.
A Traditional Pub with good ales, a friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome. Three real ales - Adnams, Southwold, Sharp's Doom Bar and a guest ale. Regularly in the Good Beer Guide including the 2018 edition. Also holds the Cask Marque award for serving great quality real ale.
Darts, pool and cribbage are played here regularly.
There's a Ukulele night the first Monday of every month, a Folk Evening the second Monday of every month at 8:30pm, a Jazz evening the last Sunday of every month at 7:30pm and a sing-along on the last Monday of the month at 8:30pm.

Nipped in for a Monday Folk night, so no food on offer, just lots of good company and good beer.
Nice little old style village pub serving a nice selection of beers,ales,wines and spirits. Great food and friendly service. Outdoor seating in the car park area and a beer garden at the end of the car park.
This pub is what I call a good old fashioned honest pub. Traditional style. Independent. Warm and cosy. Clean and tidy. Great range of beers and a great gin collection! Reasonable prices and the food sounds great. (Didn't eat). The lady on the bar was friendly and cheerful.. and service was spot on. Covid rules.. so markers on the floor and hand sanatiser on the way in. Also details are taken. So all in all a fab place. Definitely worth a visit.
Great village pub. Fab food, good portions and excellent value. Good ale, excellent gin selection! No need to dress up, you don't go here for the decor, it's a friendly local pub not part of a chain! We eat here fairly regularly both for lunch as part of a walking group, and in the evenings too.
