This is without question the best place for a meal on the south side of Glasgow right now. Brilliant menu, good choice of wines, great atmosphere, excellent team in the kitchen and smiling service and all at a very reasonable price.
New menu looked great. Had a great mix of the seafood and meat tonight. Service as always was brillant. Can't recommend enough 👏👏👏 Ps as per the handcut chips were 👌
What a gem! 😀 Very tasty food, great gluten free options, so many GF beers to choose from. Spiced Cod was delicious and my partner said that Stuffed Cabbage Leaves with Italian Meatballs was the best thing he ever had. Friendly and attentive staff. Will definitely be back.
From the creators of Partick’s Sparkle Horse comes The Bell Jar. A minimalist interior and unfussy layout. Was a very quiet snowy evening on my visit so hard to judge the atmosphere but the menu looked good with quirky small plates and it feels a lot more premium than some of the other pubs nearby
My son has just moved into the area, and this is definitely a great find. Lovely atmosphere, helpful staff, delicious and well priced food . We had a vegan , a vegetarian and two meat eaters in our party and we were all well catered for. I like the small plate idea- we were able to order several and share . I'd definitely return for another meal or a drink. Also- spotlessly clean toilets!
