Went for a lovely meal with friends and had an incredibly fun evening, the food was excellent and we weren't hassled by staff, however we were always able to get someone's attention quickly. This is our second meal here and we will come again without hesitation.
We received a very warm welcome upon arrival and upon checking in. Amazing and very friendly, always smiling staff. We’ve been looked after like family. Food served are glorious and their own brew beer is fantastic. We booked this hotel to celebrate our 30th anniversary and it was a moment to cherished and made special by the A-team of this hotel and we will definitely recommend to our friends in Yorkshire.
Be very careful with this hotel. I would have given 5 stars because the staff were brilliant except the Filipino Manager. The Owner does not put his guests first. It has a very small pool and anyone can come to the hotel and if they have a meal can go in the pool. There are walkers sweaty who eat there then go right into the pool. There is no outdoor shower provided for these people. The owner also holds parties for the people his big friends on the island. When we were there for a week it had been quite nice by the pool but a little over crowded also staff having their lunch and smoke breaks right near your sunbeds. At the weekend The owner allowed a party of about 70+ to have the complete pool area and gardens we were basically told we couldn't have a towel as there was a private party. We were fuming as we were the paying guests and we'd paid to use the pool. We ignored them and went to the pool. There were loads in the pool and we were made to feel we shouldn't be there. This rowdy loud party went on until 12:00 midnight loads of them so drunk fights broke out. Husband's and wives fighting physically awful swearing. Men arguing and fighting. My husband reported it to the Manager and the Manager was attacked. They even tried to attack my husband for reporting it. Then one guy the Owner's friend was trying to kick a car in shouting and swearing. They didn't get the police and took ages to calm it all down. We didn't sleep well at all. No consideration was given at all. There was no supervision or bouncers at such a large party. There was also a hen party at the other side of the hotel taking up all the seats so we couldn't sit there either. It spoilt what should have been a long awaited Holiday but made us upset and nervous to stay there. It's a shame because it is a lovely hotel with fabulous staff who couldn't do enough. Would I go there again NO.
Quite possibly the worst service i have ever had dining out. We were seated at approximately 18:45, and drinks orders were brisk and helpful. The issue was when it came to even trying to oder food, we asked multiple times to place and order and each time we had a reply of someone will be over shortly, pur first request was made 25 minuies after bing seated after thinking we had been forgotten about. We made multiple more requests to order food, and each time we were forgotten. So much being that tables that were seated 45 minutes after us had their food 15 minutes before we did. I was apawled by this service. For average food, this is not worth the trouble of the bad service and unhelpful staff. I will not be attending again
Greeted on arrival and shown to the table service very slick and attentive. Pizzas arrived quickly and were well made and quite large. We took it home with us
