We have a very cosy, welcoming and laid back bar located on Leith Walk, with lovely huge windows looking out onto lovely Leith Walk. Our fantastic Team at Leith Depot are very friendly and are happy to ensure that you have an enjoyable experience.
Our bar opened in November 2015 and is ever evolving. Our décor will continue to change along the way, with new random bits and pieces that we’re sure to find.
At Leith Depot we like to think that there’s something for everyone. We supply great bar snacks, tea and artisan coffee. We have a wide selection of bottled craft beers & wines and numerous draughts to choose from.
On our food menu launched in December 2015 and we serve a largely pescatarian and vegetarian menu at Leith Depot but there is always an option for the carnivores amongst you. Our food is of restaurant quality but at bar prices. Our kitchen is small on space but big on deliciousness! It’s nutritious with healthy, wholesome and tasty options. You can choose from our light bites, starters or mains. We use local food suppliers and fishmongers and so our menu will change weekly with specials and seasonally with what’s available. Our food service is available daily between 12pm and 9pm.
Now for the small print…
We have a child license for the bar area until 6pm and children are allowed in the venue area for private parties and functions.
Dogs are welcome but it is our preference after 9pm when food service has finished or if the bar isn’t busy. If in doubt give us a phone or drop us a message.

I hate to pile on when they are having a bad day but as soon as we sat down we were warned that there would be a wait for the food, the place was not busy at this time so we expected the wait would still be acceptable. About an hour after ordering we were told that their oven had broke and several of the meals were no longer available so we had to reorder. It was 2 hours after arriving that all the meals were served, none of the sides arrived before we finished the mains. That being said all of the food was really excellent. I highly recommend the Firecrackers Cauliflower. The experience was a 2/5 but the food brought my overall rating to a 3/5.
Great dogs and kids friendly pub with a lovely vibe. Lots of local beers on tap. Wonderful menu at reasonable prices. Music venue next door showcasing local acts.
Vibrant ,warm and welcoming. Drinks are greatly priced , loved the comedy show that is on first Wednesday of each month. Can't beat great atmosphere with great comedy acts here ! Definitely visiting again x
Delicious food and great selection of Leith beer. The staff was very friendly, they made us feel comfortable and we enjoyed discussing with them the choice of food and drinks, we tried a bit of everything and it was all amazing. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!
Called in for some food and a good pint, got both. Really delicious fried chicken and fries, with other good looking food coming out of the kitchen. Good range of local beer on tap to accompany.
