The only pub in the village, popular again after a change of ownership in 2012. Kevin Featherstone, the current licensee, brews his Pig Pub beers in a small brewery behind the pub and also cooks the food, which is proving increasingly popular. The pub runs a 'Real Ale Club' loyalty scheme on Pig Pub beers. Hinckley Bus service 8 runs hourly between Hinckley and Lutterworth, Monday to Saturday daytimes.
Visited today with my Nan and omg how we have missed this place! The food was AMAZING! Home cooked and fresh! The choice of meats (6 in total) and the various and plentiful veg, was just perfect! Superb atmosphere and the owners are just as friendly and welcoming as I remember. Thank you to all at the Pig in Muck for a fabulous Sunday roast!! We will be back!
Delicious lunch! We had the steak & ale pie which had the most amazing gravy ever! Highly recommend trying out this little gem ♥️
Visited with a walking party. So 9 of us had lunch. Food was ordered and arrived before us in a suitable time. All of us were impressed with the quality of the food, it's presentation and taste. Would definitely recommend and if walking near here again will no doubt revisit.
Super pub. Brews it's own beers and has guest ales on too. Really friendly staff and locals. Lovely log burner in the main eating area. Will be back for the well reputed carvery later this year!
A lovely place to eat food was amazing and staff were friendly and welcoming will be visiting again. Carvery was extremely tasty and prices were very fair.
