This hotel is built in the 17th century , it's features are perfect for a relaxing break if you are in to the paranormal, this is a must place to stay , beautiful rooms , fresh beds , loved peaceful set out I have no problem staying here the staff are friendly and helpful , oak beam ceiling very spacious , the only thing I feel that's lacking is a lamp apart from that ingore or the negative comments , highly recommended

Visited as part of a large walking group as we were all very happy with the service and food. We had pre-ordered our choices, and the food quickly appeared once we sat down. There were lots of positive comments on the food, so overall very good.

Went there for a Birthday meal for 10 people on new years day the place looked lovely old and quaint how pubs should look in my opinion. The food however was really poor for a Green King I've had at a pub sadly will never go back there and have food. Service was spot on though.

Lovely friendly pub! Enjoyed the food and the choice of drinks & I now have a new favourite cider because of it... Spiced Plum Relorderlig is lovely both hot or cold!! 😋🍻

This place was alright to stay at for a night. Room price was fair, it was clean enough and bed was comfy. Rooms could definitely do with an update and decorating is needed both in the rooms and the hallways. Staff were friendly and helpful with getting parking sorted and checked in. Drinks are fairly priced. Would stay again for a night if I was in the area.
