A spacious pub that offers good events on a weekly basis. I've attended the international students event where they gave away free burgers if you bought a drink and I was surprised as in the burgers weren't poorly made.
Good Pub. Good selection.. could really do with good re vamp.... new furniture etc... staff are quite friendly.. drinks are reasonably priced. Food is half decent. Worth a visit for a drink or some food.
Sticky floors and no locks on the toilet doors in the gents cubicles. Staff very friendly thou and very helpful when it comes to putting the football on.on the hole a satisfactory pub.
Not very clean. Sticky floors. Extremely rude and obnoxious door staff. Used to be a good place to visit. Gone right down hill.
Myself and my partner used to enjoy coming here, but I felt I had to write this review as the place seems to be losing its touch. Sunday dinner this week seemed to take very long to arrive and when it finally did the food was dry and not worth the wait. I am also very angry at being served a stone cold steak tonight and when I took it back did not get so much as an apology from any member of staff - in fact it seemed to annoy the majority who seemed to prefer standing around the bar chatting (should mention another excessively long wait for food when no member of staff seemed to be doing anything). Used to be a regular customer, but I will certainly not be going back again. Very disappointing experience; they really need to up their game.
