I have been working with the owners of the Swan & Rushes for a while now, they are all great guys, they are always looking at ways they can serve his customers better. They have great offers, really well priced food and beer and are really big on customer service. I would highly recommend visiting this place.
This place only reopened in August 2018 under the current management after being closed since March 2017 (when the previous pub's operators left due to lease problems with the owners) so none of the reviews and photos before August 2018 relate to the present set-up (don't know why google didn't just clear them all off when the new operators opened as it's misleading and rather like flying false colours) so only the three reviews before this one apply to the new set-up! It's no longer as much of a real ale pub as it was as now only got three real ale handpumps and rather than a traditional pub as it was it's now been themed as a "sports bar"!
Recently refurbished, unfortuanly all the charm and character was thrown in the skip too, including the space man. In addition bouncers on the door when it's a tigers home game is just not necessary, again another reason to look elsewhere.
Lovely place, very happy it's our new local. Great selection of beers, pizza on Friday and weekends, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Also it's not over busy on match days which is a bonus! Great work, keep it up :)
Vast selection of beers: they specialise in bottled Belgian, but plenty of other types, both bottled and draft. Great pizzas. Traditional pub decor (plus a life size astronaut statue). Delightfully grumpy staff. Near to Leicester Tigers rugby ground, so gets busy on match days. Also near to Leicester Royal Infirmary, so there's a steady stream of staff, visitors and patients.

FoxHutBar (Bricklayers Arm) is situated at 78 Welford Road Leicester LE2 7AB, next to Bannatyne gym. Few minute away from Leicester Tigers ground. A stone throw from Leicester Royal infirmary Hospital. The pub/Bar is a great spot to be at any time.
