Pricey but great service and good steaks, best go for the sirloin, ribeye, or t-bone fillet was a little tasteless. Good burgers. Go for the cheesecake, probably the best I have ever had. The waitress we had was amazing. Good ambience.
Came here for a family Sunday lunch. The food and service were good and the prices were pretty decent also. We enjoyed it and will be back.
It was a pleasant surprise to find that they have a set menu for a Tuesday night dinner (don't recall seeing it on their website). From starter to dessert, our food was super tasty; our steak cooked to a perfect medium. All the staff were really nice though I wished I had asked the name of my waitress. She deserves a shout out here for being very attentive and friendly. All in all, a lovely date night with my daughter at Miller & Carter!
Positives: - T-bone steak was very large and taste was above average - service is very efficient and friendly - cocktails are good, suggest the Hedgerow Bramble which is with gin and raspberry Negatives: - being C&M it's quite pricey for the food which is average in my opinion - the scallops for starter and the lobster tail were both terrible - not even warm and very chewy (straight from the freezer probably)
We booked Miller and carter on website at 9 pm on Wednesday at Harrow restaurant as booking were available at this time and I finished work late. It was not mentioned on the booking site that the kitchen would be closing at around 9 pm. We reached your restaurant on time as per the booking and as we entered the lady at the reception was quite abrupt and told us we had just 5 mins to place an order as the kitchen was closing. As we set to look at the menu the waitress came immediately within 5 mins to take our order. We barely had time to browse the menu, so we had to rush. This was not a pleasant experience as it was our first time at Miller and Carter and we were quite excited for our date. The rest of service was fine and the steak was well prepared and tasty.
