The stuff of south London legend, The Latchmere has recently undergone huge regeneration, restoring one of Battersea’s most beautiful buildings to create a spectacular public house and garden.
A giant gin balloon takes pride of place on our bar which will serve hand-crafted spirits, elegant cocktails, award-winning ales and a bottle of wine to match any kind of day.
The menu showcases our dedication to all things meat from our home-cured, uniquely flavoured British charcuterie, to our wide range of steaks, all aged in-house, as well as our free-range chicken and pork, and sustainably sourced fish from beautiful south coast.
Our four new garden spaces include a courtyard complete with heating, an al fresco snug room, a sun terrace and a kids’ area – meaning whatever the weather you’ll never want to leave.
The first floor of The Latchmere continues to be home to Theatre503, an Olivier award-winning theatre for over 30 years, with whom we are proud to be associated.
A landmark building on the junction of Latchmere Road and Battersea Bridge Road, The Latchmere lies in the heart of Battersea, a short distance from the river and minutes from Battersea Park.

A microcosm of battersea. You have the runners nursing a freshly earned pint, the South African crew turning out for rugby games, and friendly staff with a rather refined dining area and strong menu. The Guinness is surprisingly nice (not to be taken for granted in this area) and there’s plenty of seating should you fancy an impromptu drink or nibble. A reliable local.
I’ve been in this beautiful pub quite a few times, for Sunday roast, fish & chips, drinks and also I’ve organised my Work Christmas party! Staff is absolutely kind, polite and very friendly. Food is delicious, we were 16 eating at the Christmas party and everything was spotless and no complaints from any of my colleagues. The pub itself is clean, nice atmosphere and great choice of beers. See you again soon! Keep up the good work! 😊💪🏻
Really enjoyed this nice local pub. Service was great, atmosphere was fun. It’s got a nice vibe in here. Really pretty Christmas tree. Loved the Halloumi, omg so good!!! They had a few cider options as well. Oh and they’re dog friendly!
Have been here for drinks a few times and it's always been a nice atmosphere. The beer garden out the back is lovely. We went for Sunday lunch today and the roasts were gorgeous, probably the best roast I've had at a pub/restaurant. The portions were very generous and each of our meats were very tasty. Everything on the plate was very flavoursome. There was a great offer on for locals for £20 when you spend £60 which made the price very reasonable. Also bonus points for it being super dog friendly, a great local place to bring the dog for a drink.
I was excited to visit because of the rave reviews - it was a decent roast but I wouldn't say the best I've ever had! The food was well seasoned and the giant Yorkshires were perfect, and portions were huge. But it could have been hotter, the slices of meat were on the thin side and the roast potatoes could have been crispier.
