Lovely hotel set on the edge of Loch Eport and about a 20 minute drive from Benbecula airport. The rooms were very comfortable and the team were extremely helpful. The dinner and breakfast was excellent. I look forward to returning to stay again.

Great wee hotel and lovely friendly staff. This was a quick trip for us and didn't get the opportunity to try the restaurant unfortunately but heard it's fab.

We were looking forward to the lodge as everything seemed to be like we wanted it. Due to Calmac chaotic Ferry schedules we arrived later in the evening. It was nice to have a sandwich. However the big hammer is the breakfast times. Langass Lodge is not a cheap B&B and the Breakfast times were only from 7.30 am to 8.50 am. I would have never booked it knowing in advance. We're on holiday not a scout camp. Dinner was sumptuous but not as well presented as in the homepage. At least we had two days travelling around Uist. The rooms 10-12 are spacious and offer a beautiful view to the Loch. Service was a bit loose or laisser faire. The top for breakfast was to eat on wax cloth like in a shed. That is an absolute nogo for a place called lodge or hotel. I am also not sure if the couple presented on the homepage really runs the place or just let it run....

First the (only) negative - bedroom room was a bit small but it was clean and perfectly comfortable. Now the many many positives. The food was first class - super menu, wonderful presentation, fresh local ingredients and extremely tasty. The staff (mostly young) are a credit to their generation and a huge asset to the hotel, the island and the tourist industry. They were all helpful, personable and great fun to be with. The location of the hotel is also excellent.

Booked a table of four in the restaurant on opening night of the 2023 season and weren't disappointed. Been coming for years, and this was the best meal yet! The local seafood selection starter was to die for - seriously, the tastiest starter I've ever had. I had to take a pic it was SO good. Please keep this on the menu next year!!! And the surf & turf main was the best meal of the entire holiday. My wife and kids equally enjoyed theirs too. It was four very big thumbs up from us. Serving staff are lovely too, and the whole experience was so good we treated ourselves to another visit this week to end the holiday. Thank you for looking after us, and for the amazing cuisine.
