Stayed here unexpectedly due to the A9 closing. The whole team were so welcoming and kind. Walking into the hall with the Christmas tree and lights was magical. It was so peaceful in front of the fire after at 10 hour journey. Absolutely stunning. Would go back anytime.
We had dinner here on Christmas Eve as part a big family group - 19 of us ranging in age from 3 months to 88 years. The staff were simply wonderful, looking after a gang of small children and frail older grandparents, including helping one around in his wheelchair. The food was really excellent, and the general atmosphere was so great - it was properly decked up for Christmas in a way the children were soooo excited about, while still being beautiful and tasteful. Absolutely recommended, really great.
We had Christmas Lunch here as part of a large group. Everyone enjoyed the food and hospitality within this wonderful hunting lodge style hotel. Complements to all the front of house and to the chef and team in the kitchen. We'll done all.
Just back from 2 nights at this superb hotel. A quirky feel to this place, but a lovely homely feeling. Brilliant food, wonderful friendly attentive staff. Already planning a re-visit. Would recommend the hotel to anyone.
A wonderful charming place to stay. The grand Hall is spectacular and the fire place gives a very cosy atmosphere. Food was delicious, and staff were so nice and friendly. Overall we had a very enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend.
