We have been coming to the restaurant for nearly 50 years. We booked on online for 12.00 on Saturday 23rd December 23. We were put at the back of the restaurant, next to the kids play area. The space was much colder than the rest of the restaurant. We asked for the heating to be put up, but this never seemed to happen. We ordered our food at 12.15. After several chases we finally got our starter at 13.00 (45mins). After several more chases our 1st main finally arrived at 13.25 and then over the course of the next 15 mins, the others arrived. The fish was terribly over cooked to the point of be inedible, one of our dishes came out wrong and had to be returned. A very disappointing experience!! As requested, I have emailed my contact details to the manager Two of the original party returned yesterday and had a significantly better experience. In all aspects food/service and atmosphere.
It's slightly out of town, with ample parking. Staff are friendly enough, and they cater for my disabled friends needs very well, along with the rest of us too. As I've visited several times, over the previous decade, with various groups of friends. Never been disappointed either.
Everything was perfect from booking to leaving… I booked for 1pm as my mom is type one diabetic and needs to eat then however has dementia and this made us late due to certain difficulties in the morning - I rang the pub to advise we would be late and they were so very accommodating to allow us to arrive at 1:30 instead. The food was amazing and they gave us exactly what we asked for given my aunt has particular tastes around sauces. It was great to see a choice of salads too! The food was plentiful, cooked well and tasted delicious! The bar staff and waiting staff were excellent. I couldn’t fault our visit and nothing was too much trouble - we will definitely be going again and will be recommending to others. Thanks
I go weekly to their Tuesday quiz nights and the staff are always very welcoming and friendly. The food is to a great standard with reasonable prices. There is always a buzzing atmosphere due to the quiz (which is very fun to take part in). There’s only been one big mistake where the staff dropped my order ticket so we didn’t get served, but they said the next time we came in we’d get free food. It was over a month until we went in after that and they remembered which was outstanding. Would highly recommend.

My meal, a steak and ale pie, was cooked to perfection with a generous helping of tender meat and flavorful gravy. The portions were also very generous, and I definitely felt like I got my money's worth. In terms of atmosphere, The Land Oak has a cozy and inviting feel. The decor is warm and traditional, with plenty of seating options both indoors and out. There was a great buzz of conversation throughout the pub, which added to the overall ambiance. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at The Land Oak pub in Kidderminster. The friendly staff, quick service, and delicious food made for an enjoyable meal out, and I would definitely recommend this pub to others.

Local's pub with large lounge areas, patio at the back and a large car park. Home to football and pool teams. Currently only keg beers.
